Diese P-38 Lightning, eine von heute nur noch zehn flugfähigen Exemplaren, trägt die auffällige Nose Art « 23 Skidoo » von Hauptmann Perry John « Pee Wee » Dahl, der dieses Jagdflugzeug im pazifischen Kriegsschauplatz ab 1943 flog. Das Flugzeug wird vom Planes of Fame Air Museum in Chino, im US-Bundesstaat Kalifornien, im flugfähigen Zustand erhalten.
